I have always liked making things. Goudplevier exists so I could do that with the thinking and the building in the same place, which means what gets made is what was actually meant.

The experience behind it comes from years inside banks, government departments and telecoms companies. You learn what makes work land and what makes it quietly stall, and that is why we can get to real solutions early.

Technology has moved far enough now that a well considered idea can become something people actually use, within weeks. That still excites me.

The best work I have been part of came from a small group of people who cared, each bringing something the others did not have. We keep the client list short so there is room for that.

Questions people ask

How fast will I receive my work?
Small requests, such as a set of user stories, a process map or a single screen, come back within two business days. Bigger work, such as a new feature, a dashboard or an automation, is split into parts and you receive finished pieces every week until it is done. A request waiting on your access or an answer does not count against the queue.
Is this for building products or for analysis?
Both. A startup might request screens and features all month. An operations team might request process maps, KPIs and an automation. Same board, same plan.
How does onboarding work?
Subscribe and we set up your board within about an hour. Add your first request, give us access to the tools and accounts the work needs, and we start. For product builds we work in your repositories and cloud accounts from day one.
Who does the work?
Senior people, from start to finish. The person who writes the requirements is the person who builds the thing, which is the whole point of working this way. Where a piece needs a specialist we bring one in and you meet them, so you always know exactly who is on your work.
Is there a limit to how many requests I can make?
No. Add as many as you like. They are worked one at a time, in the order you set.
How does pausing work?
Billing runs in 31-day cycles. Use it for 21 days and pause, and the remaining 10 days are kept for when you resume.
How do you handle larger requests?
We split them into parts on the board and deliver finished pieces every week until the whole thing is done. You always see progress.
What tools do you work in?

Ours and yours, and yours wins. If your team already lives somewhere, we work there and leave the deliverable where you will look for it. If you have nothing set up, we bring our own, and it is handed over at the end with the licences in your name.

Do you embed with teams as a scrum master or project manager?
Not inside the subscription, which is built around finished deliverables. Ask on a call if you need someone in the room; it may fit as a separate arrangement.
What if I don't like the work?
We keep revising until you are happy, within the scope of the request.
Are there any requests you don't support?
Data platform engineering, 24/7 support, penetration testing, legal advice, and staff augmentation.
Are there refunds?
75% back within the first week if it is not working for you. None after that, and none for completed work.
Can large organisations pay by invoice?
Yes. The monthly plan can be invoiced under a short statement of work, and every project is a fixed price on a purchase order.
Can I use Goudplevier for just a month?
Yes. A month or a year, the choice is yours.
